Bee Orchids

These superb Bee Orchids were recently found at Stern Mills, Sowerby Bridge by Michael Sykes. This site is soon to be bulldozed and put under concrete!

  1. I have emailed the consultants for the site (ARUP) and Robert Masheder at West Yorkshire Ecology.

I have said that we want to know exactly what can be done to protect this locally very rare species. (Unfortunately it is not nationally rare.)

Great that we could get photographic evidence and 10-digit GPS reference.
