Welcome to Walks, Talks & Joining 2018

Halifax Scientific Society - Natural History and
Science for Pleasure - Walks and Talks

Indoor meetings and talks are held at the Imperial Crown Hotel, Horton St. Halifax.  They start at 7.15pm.  Talks are on the second Tuesday of each month.  There is a collection to offset our expenses.

Walks are led by experienced naturalists and whilst every care is taken to minimise hazards, participants join at their own risk.  The walks vary in length and difficulty.  Wear strong footwear. Please bring a packed lunch and a drink for all walks.  Donations are welcomed to offset expenses.

Meeting places and arrangements for walks are in the programme but it is advisable to confirm these via the blog,
or by phone or text to 0771 500 5379
