Sowerby Bridge 23.06.2014

I managed to find five Bee Orchids today that were intact, unspoilt and looking gorgeous in the sunshine.

  1. I looked this morning but couldn't find them where they used to grow before they were bulldozed by the developers.
    Well done for finding them, I'd like to see them.
    There is a huge variety of typical disturbed ground plants. I'll try and get time to blog some this evening.
    I found a Palmate Newt and Common Toad under one small piece of plywood.
