Toad pond restored

Very pleased to report the restoration of the toad pond in Clifton was completed last Friday.
It had been empty for months due to the winter floods damaging the bank and letting all the water out.
Some toads appeared last Monday to an empty pond,
but from now on they have somewhere to breed again.

  1. Well done Chris. A lot of networking and perseverence on your part to get it done I understand.

  2. This is such good news isn't it? Let's hope the toads are happily on the move after the cold snap, finding their home restored. They'll have to do without our little Toad Patrol, but should have fewer hazards to battle!
