Hollins Mill Lane, Sowerby Bridge 16.03.2014

  1. I used to work near that spot and it was always good to see it. How long do you thing its been there? I know our Frank used to talk about it many years ago.

  2. Hi Bruce,
    The ones Frank knew as well were on the red brick building just past the library, used to be a pie shop. These are further along and are ther in huge numbers right up to where the road begins to climb to the junc. of Hollins Lane-there are or were, some on the wall in Hollins Lane where the steps start to go to Burnley Road at Friendly. There is also a small group on New lane near the path to the Crossley's Sports ground of Broomfield avenue
