Orchid ??


Today I was up at batings dam on the road that goes over the res and up over towards Rishworth.In the roadside verge lots of Pignut and one Orchid sp.?never seen one before this high up any one know what it might  be .?..

    I don't know a great deal about orchids, but the leaves appear unspotted. My guess is it's one of the Marsh Orchids - Northern Marsh??

  2. Or maybe Heath spotted orchid. There are a lot of these in a damp heathland area in Tod, along with Bog asphodel.
