Cuckoo?

There have been reports of a cuckoo being heard near Hebden Bridge. Any thoughts? http://www.hebdenbridge.co.uk/forum/2017/018.html#p2

  1. I heard the news from another source as well, so went along today, but no sounds of a cuckoo. This was my list in 1hour 20 mins: Mallard (on the canal at the bottom) Jackdaws in flocks, Robin singing, one Blue Tit, Crows, domestic hen. It was nicely sheltered from the wind along there (Crow Nest Woods). I've had Wood Warbler there in the past.

  2. The only thing I can think it might be is..A Song thrush they are very vocal at the moment and can mimic most birds.??
