Swifts

My first sighting of 6 swifts over Centre Vale at Tod; this teatime.

  2. Thanks for the reports. This is certainly one species that is not arriving any earlier as many other species have been doing in recent years. Unfortunately it also seems to be in serious decline especially in the UK.

  3. Great to see the first Swifts appearing. Such a distinct bird with an amazing lifestyle. I persuaded the Council to put a nestbox designed for them on the Square Chapel Spire when they built the new library. Hoping it will attract them!
