Painted Lady

Painted Lady at Green Withens today.

  1. Agreed, cracking! Not seen one myself yet. Though Silver y moths which are said to migrate with them quite common.

  2. Considering there have been stacks of silver Ys, I'm surprised only to have seen two painted ladies this summer. Both were on the summit of Pendle, flying round the trig point.
