Profusion of Butterflies

We have had at least 15 Small Tortoiseshell,2 Peacock and 2 Comma butterfly on our Buddleia in the last 24 hours. The best we have seen in 6 years.

  3. Same in Todmorden.
    Our Buddleia had 40 butterflies on it, most of which were small tortoiseshell but also peacock, comma, greenveined white, small white, large white, red admiral, and a speckled wood. Amazing to watch such numbers flitting around for the last few days.
    I love the smell of the flowers.
