Blackthorn at it's Best at Cromwell Bottom LNR

These images, taken yesterday of Blackthorn were sent in by Allan - Many thanks. (Cromwell Bottom WG)

  1. It is just the time of year to record as many as possible of the locations that Blackthorn grows.
Place-names, with alternatives, and genaral name of district (as some place names are duplicated,) plus map references would be useful.

  2. Hi Steve

    A 30mtr stretch at SE070283 (opposite Morrisons)

A 50 mtr stretch, (half hawthorn) at SE083291 - behind Holdsworth House

A few scattered bushes SE085295 (Oats Royd)

    All seen today
