First bees

Spring is on its way; I've seen my first bumble bee and a solitary bee (on crocus) today.

    Nice record Philip, it was a pleasantly warm day.
    Just a reminder, the talk on March 8th is about bee ecology, also hay meadow restoration - should be an interesting evening.
