First Frogspawn

Saw the first frogs & had one clump of spawn in the pond today.
I was beginning to think the newts had frightened them away.

    That's very late for frogs, they are usually the first.

    The first frogspawn reported this year was at Hebden Bridge in a pond in a warm south facing garden on 16th February (by NG.)
