Somethin...I've never noticed the white anthers. Something to look for. I see the dead plants when the sheep rip them up and finding them too tough, leave them lying around turning brown. The one-sided seed head then makes it very recognisable. Few scientific plant names are as poetic and easy to remember as "Nardus stricta".
